Netflix has partnered with Decentraland to bring this year’s The Gray Man movie to the metaverse.
This event is named as The Gray Man: Metaverse Mission, and has players search for a fountain in a maze in order to retrieve a USB that contains classified info, after which they must make their way to a secret room where they can collect their rewards and see how long it took them to complete the event. Only the fastest players will be able to earn rewards though. Throughout the maze there are shortcuts that get you ever so closer to the fountain, but can only be used by correctly answering the given question.
Players will be able to obtain 3 different wearables: Sierra Six’s Jacket, Lloyd’s Trash Stache and Miranda’s Bob. The event will take place 4 times and will last 24 hours each time it’s hosted, starting from July 29 at 1 PM UTC. The other available times in case you can’t make it for the first one are August 5 at 1 PM UTC, August 12 at 1 PM UTC and August 19 at 1 PM UTC. You can still try the game out outside the event timeframes. Playing without a crypto wallet is possible, but being able to earn rewards that way is not an option.
