Marina Raphael’s New Bag Design Now At Metaverse

Luxury handbag designer Marina Raphael today launched her latest capsule collection in partnership with Eugenie Niarkos, Creative Director of Venex  World. The bag is also available digitally in the Metaverse as an NFT.

Establishing its eponymous label in 2018, Raphael’s range of bags has lived up to the brand’s sophisticated and timeless aesthetic, while also attracting a contemporary fan base with creative and glamorous elements. A member of the sixth generation of the Swarovski family, Raphael’s designs also use glitter and crystals in abundance.

In true MR fashion, the new style features clean lines, strong silhouettes, and well-crafted details. Minimalist in size, and maximalist in detail, the Venix bag is contrasting in nature and contrasting in concept – a reflection of the spirit of futuristic innovation along with the mutual appreciation of two women entrepreneurs in advanced design and gemstones.

The designers shared in notes that the piece was “conceived to overcome a perpetual contrast between traditional leather goods manufacturing and construction.” 

From its sleek and a little conservative box style design, to its adorable miniature shape and statement metal hardware, to the dazzling color variations of crystal the Venex shape is poised to be an instant classic, a bag that looks like a space-age ensemble. A jewelry-like box that is ideal for keeping secrets and essentials of life.

In partnership with the NFT marketplace and Web3 platform Niftify, the collaboration also sees Raphael enter the immersive virtual world of the metaverse with the opening of NFT for the first time. The first ten customers to buy a physical bag online will be rewarded with a unique NFT, which will have an animation of opening the bag to uncover a huge amount of virtual gems.
