LG, the big name in the electronic industry, has finally entered the field of Metaverse with the aim to develop TV software and release NFT. LG is the latest organization to jump into the metaverse through a trademark application for LG ART LAB submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on July 19.
According to the application, the company plans to provide TV software for NFT issuance and trading, trading software, brokerage, and digital asset management. In addition, crypto wallet payment services and software are in the metaverse.
Before this statement, LG released many NFT-related products. In May, the company collaborated with media artist Refik Anadol to show NFT artwork on OLED TVs.
Samsung, another South Korean electronic monster, moreover unveiled various properties under NFTs. Samsung inaugurated an NFT outlet for its T.V.s enabling customers to buy NFTs through their equipment.
Other significant appeals encompass eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY), which pursues to request NFT trades and NFT trading, real goods marketplaces, and online retail stores with physical and virtual goods.
