From the leaked paper seen by Protos, Yuga Labs plans to release the latest collection of NFTs by the end of this year named Mecha Apes to increase another $50 million and 100,000 metaverse land fragments.
The company’s vended out 100,000-piece “Otherdeeds for Otherside” NFT collection, collected in a total of $600 million, with each deed sold at an opening price of $6,000. Ever since the average cost has fallen to a official $2,700 as both the value of ether and the ether floor price dropped during the contemporary bear market. NFT trading volume is also fell 99% from its rise of previous year.
A “Mecha Piece” has been presented as one of the monuments in the Otherdeeds. The Otherdeeds are expressed by Yuga Labs as a place “where players will be able to interact simultaneously in a single place, connect with natural voice chat (even in crowds of thousands), experience rich, immersive gameplay supported by AI and physics, and move between metaverses.”
Yuga Labs has everytime been very reserved regarding its NFT release, however, it defined some of its proposals and goals in a seed funding in the start of this year which increased $450 million. Yuga Labs aims to develop a media empire on Web 3.0 that compromise of games and art based in the metaverse.
Yuga Labs has until now influenced the NFT space and even invested the rights for the wellknown collections called Meebits and CryptoPunks, which has the sky high trading volume uptil now with 991,000 ether traded, followed by the Bored Ape Yacht Club, the creation that shot them to fame with 661,900 ether traded. Trading volume for the Otherdeeds is also one of the overpriced from all NFT collections with 342,900 ether deal uptil now.
