Line, which is the top ranking messaging app of Japan, came out with LINENFT, which is the exclusive NFT marketplace of the firm on 13th April this year. Although there are so many restrictions on crypto trading in Japan, people are getting more and more interested in NFTs.
Yoshimoto Kogyo and LVC Corporation, a firm which operates the LINE’s blockchain, have teamed up together to facilitate 90 million users in Japan to access 40,000 different NFTs. Customers can keep these NFTs in the LINE BitMax wallet, a product designed with the help of crypto-exchange BitMax.
A few comedy videos and anime series will initially be available at the firm’s Yoshimoto NFT Theatre. One of these anime series is Patlabor the Mobile Police, which will be modified into a diorama art NFT, as it will also mark the completion of animation’s thirty years. Moreover ,videos of famous characters like Gyuunyuu and Betakkuma along with NFTs by manga artist Yashiroazuki will also be added shortly.
