The partnership represents a significant milestone for Binance, providing an opportunity to work with a prominent artist who has received critical acclaim. The arrangement will also underscore Binance’s dedication to supporting the arts and promoting innovation in the cryptocurrency industry.

The Weeknd is a highly acclaimed musical artist known for his creative and captivating music. His recent studio albums, After Hours (2020) and Dawn FM (2022), were both critical and commercial successes, reaching the top charts in more than 10 countries.

As this exciting partnership develops, Binance encourages its users to stay tuned for further updates. Additionally, with a commitment to bringing the best of the crypto world and positively impacting society, Binance is confident that this collaboration with The Weeknd will pave the way for more innovative and socially responsible initiatives in the future.

The XO humanitarian fund

This year has already been busy for The Weeknd, who recently released Live At SoFi Stadium (2023), a new album recorded as part of his ongoing After Hours Til Dawn Global Tour, presented by Binance.

According to Binance, the concert attendees can now claim an official Souvenir NFT, a Web3-powered way to commemorate their concert experience and gain exclusive access to more of The Weeknd’s music in the future (subject to residency restrictions).

This isn’t The Weeknd’s first venture into digital collectibles, as he sold an unreleased song as an NFT. The Tour NFT collection is scheduled to launch in 2023, and a portion of the sales will go towards The Weeknd’s XO Humanitarian Fund, which is run by the World Food Programme (WFP). The Weeknd, a UN WFP Goodwill Ambassador, founded the XO Humanitarian Fund to provide food to millions on the brink of famine.

Binance has already donated $2 million to The Weeknd’s fund to demonstrate our commitment to giving back. We are proud to partner with The Weeknd and contribute to his noble cause, which aligns with Binance Charity’s humanitarian efforts.
