Nelson Mandela Foundation And Glorious Digital Launch NFT Collection

Nelson Mandela, former President of South Africa who became an icon of democracy and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, has his own foundation called the Nelson Mandela Foundation. The foundation will reportedly launch the NFT Mandela collection in the near future to celebrate the anniversary of the peace icon on Mandela Day.

To make it a reality, the Nelson Mandela Foundation is working with Auckland-based studio NFT Glorius Digital. Mandela's NFT launch project is aimed at honoring the life and legacy of the former South African President.

However, until now both parties have not announced a more detailed time for the release of the digital collection in honor of Mandela. The Nelson Mandela Foundation's partnership with Glorious Digital is a long term project and will see the impact Nelson Mandela has left on the world through NFT.

On the other hand, funding from this project will increase the outreach of the Nelson Mandela Foundation to the digital world and the global community.

For information, Nelson Mandela, also known as Madiba, was the President of South Africa between 1994-1999 and the Nobel Peace Prize laureate in 1993. The highest award was given to Mandela for his services against apartheid politics.

He became a iconl of peace and resistance in those days. In an attempt to end Apartheid, Mandela served 27 years in prison, between 1962 and 1990, mainly on Robben Island.

NFT Nelson Mandela will focus on all aspects of his life. July 18th is Mandela's birthday which is also known as Mandela Day. The United Nations officially declared Mandela Day in 2009.

The personality who died in 2013 had a huge influence on South Africa in particular, and the world in general. NFT Mandela will explore Mandela's life history and its impact on society at large.

Due to the partnership with the Nelson Mandela Foundation, Glorious Digital will have access to private documents, photos and more. In fact, the project will last ten years and honor the legacy of the Nobel Peace Prize winner.
