A one-day pop-up exhibition, ‘ART & NFT: The Digital Roots’, will take place at Lume Studios, New York, presented by VerticalCrypto art, in partnership with Whitewall and Tezos.
NEW YORK- opening on Monday 16 May, in Soho’s Lume Studios, an immersive pop-up exhibition will present the cutting-edge talent leading NFT artistic production and explore the synonymity between ‘contemporary’ and ‘digital’ artists.
ART & NFT: The Digital Roots is presented by VerticalCrypto art, in partnership with Whitewall and Tezos, and extends an earlier edition of the exhibition which attracted 400 visitors per day, a record number of sales to collectors and extensive press coverage, whilst displayed at Hollywood’s NeueHouse, earlier this year, at Frieze LA.
For this event, 22 LED monitors and immersive projections will flood the two-floor space, creating a dramatic space to experience the work of 12 cutting edge artists
“We are really excited to revisit the format of this show in order to present these artists” says Micol Ap, the Founder and CEO of VerticalCrypto Art. “The scale of interest we received in the previous show and the support we are seeing for the artists we work with is growing rapidly- so, the opportunity to present work that we really rate, during such a key week for New York is really important to us.”
The majority of the works being exhibited were created on Tezos, the energy-efficient blockchain, by artists including Helena Sarin, P1Xelfool, Skye Nicholas, Damjanski, Linda Dounia, Lia Something, Nicolas Sassoon, lia something, skye nicolas, Loren Bednar, Leander Herzog, Rose Jackson and Jana Styblova.
