Starbucks announces that it is planning to start NFT business this year Howard Schultz who is presently CEO OF Seattle coffee company Starbucks has announced that the company is planning to come into NFT business very soon. 

He has taken the charge of the company on Monday after Kevin Johnson, the last CEO resigned. Schultz has said that he has been doing research about NFTs for quite some time as this is a technology which facilitates people to acquire digital artworks, movies, images and so many other digital assets on blockchain. Other companies and firms, like Taco Bell and Papa John’s, are also researching NFTs. As per Axios, iHeartMedia is coming up with a NFT-based podcast shortly. 

Starbucks possesses more than 40,000 employees who are actually serving at 3000 various locations but its stock has dropped by more than 20% in the last year. The number of outlets owned by the firm is 33,833 in 80 countries as per data provided in November 2021. Out of these, 15,444 outlets are in the USA. Starbucks lies among the biggest coffee chains in the world!
